As Hergatt Machine, Inc., approaches its 50th year in business we decided it was time to start the next chapter. After much consideration, we have made the difficult and bittersweet decision to sell our business and its assets to Hillman Precision, Inc. or Ashland Ohio. The sale process is already underway and Hergatt Machine will close its doors permanently on December 31, 2025.

Neil and I, along with Geoff, Sam and Brian Hillman, have been working to make this a smooth transition for our customers. In addition, all of our machinists and their decades of experience and dedication to quality will be moving to Hillman’s.
